El sello Ajo Contento abre sus ojitos a la luz primera en el año de 2007. Se enfoca en la promoción de jóvenes proyectos musicales que sean innovadores, incluyendo géneros que fluctúan entre el post-rock, experimental, post-punk, psychedelic retro soft rock, poppy girl rock, shoegaze, crooner’s attitude y mucho más. Un paisaje ecléctico de sonidos.
Happy… también produce piezas artesanales; lleva el acontecimiento musical más lejos, lo amalgama con un fetiche plástico y lo hace inolvidable.

Los  primeros lanzamientos son el compilado "Trippy Garlic", que muestra los trabajos de los primeros artistas del sello como Antoine Reverb, Hey Chica!, Suave as Hell, Underpops, Robota y Drag+on, así como la inclusión de proyectos invitados como Nebula 3, Le Butcherettes, Pesina Siller, Volumina y Bosque Discoteca, exponiendo un amplio abanico de sonidos que reflejan la realidad de la escena tapatía subterránea, y el mini-lp "Well Well Mr. Whale" de Suave as Hell, un viaje por la psicodelia amable, y el pop más fino con reminiscencias nostálgicas a los Beatles de Rubber Soul y The Zombies.
También se editaron los ep’s de Marlento, Drag+on, Soho Riots y Hey Chica!, en ediciones limitadas.

Para este 2009, se lanzarán los álbumes de Antoine Reverb, Robota, Soho Riots, Selma y Drag+on, en cd, descarga digital, y el nuevo reto del Ajo Contento es editarlos en vinil, a la vieja usanza de nuestros padres.

The label Happy Garlic opens its little eyes to light for the first time in the year 2007. It focuses in the promotion of young musical projects that are innovating, including sorts that fluctuate between the post-rock, experimental, post-punk, psychedelic retro soft rock, poppy girl rock, shoegaze, crooner's attitude and much more. An eclectic landscape of sounds. Happy… also produces artisan pieces; it takes the musical event further, it amalgamates it with a plastic fetish and it makes unforgettable.

The first releases are compiled in a CD " Trippy Garlic" , that shows the works of the first artists of the label like Antoine Reverb, Hey Chica!, Suave as Hell, Underpops, Robota and Drag+on, as well as the inclusion of guest projects like Nebula 3, Les Butcherettes, Pesina Siller, Volumina and Bosque Discoteca, exposing an ample fan of sounds that reflect the reality of the local underground scene, and the mini-LP " Well Well Mr. Whale" of Suave as Hell, a trip by a nice psychedelia, and the finest pop with nostalgic reminiscences of the Beatles’ Rubber Soul and The Zombies. Also we’ve published EPs of Marlento, Drag+on, Soho Riots and Hey Chica!, in limited editions.

In this 2009, the albums of Antoine Reverb, Robota, Soho Riots, Selma and Drag+on, will be released in CD, digital downloading, and the new challenge of Happy Garlic is to publish them in vinyl, as in the good old days of our parents.
